Elvista Dexter x Cavluv Lilly produced our beloved Cooper. He was a carrier of CM but was clear of all other inheritable diseases. His heart was checked and cleared annually, and he held an ACES eye certificate. Cooper was a spirited, high-drive boy with an unwavering passion for his tennis ball. He’d go to great lengths to prompt us to throw it, whether it meant dropping it in front of a moving lawnmower, placing it in holes we were digging, or gently setting it in our lap or hand upon request. Initially reserved around unfamiliar faces, once he warmed up, his affection knew no bounds. Loyal and loving to his family, he was my closest companion, accompanying me everywhere. He was truly my shadow. Tragically, we lost him on May 31st to gastric torsion, a consequence of ingesting something harmful. In a bittersweet turn of events, he had mated with Jinxx just a week prior to his passing. From that union, we are cherishing two special puppies, ensuring Cooper’s legacy lives on.
