Jinxx exudes a warm and welcoming demeanor, embracing everyone she encounters with open paws. Yet, beneath her sociable exterior lies a keen focus on tasks. We’ve introduced her to scent training, and she’s not only quick but thoroughly enjoys it. Jinxx cherishes our company to the extent that she’ll hop onto my lap, even if it’s already occupied by another dog. A water enthusiast, she revels in her swimming sessions and equally looks forward to our extended walks through the bush.

Jinxx’s Remarkable Achievement

In an event that captured headlines and the attention of dog enthusiasts everywhere, Jinxx, one of our cherished Cavalier King Charles Spaniels at Elfore Cavaliers, achieved a truly extraordinary feat. On July 21, 2023, she gave birth to a staggering 12 puppies, a number that is double the average litter size for the breed. This exceptional occurrence was not only a testament to Jinxx’s health and vitality but also a proud moment for us at Elfore Cavaliers. The news, reported by Prealene Khera, highlighted the rarity of such an event, emphasizing the uniqueness of Jinxx’s litter. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also reminded of the responsibility we hold in ensuring the well-being of each of these precious pups, preparing them for their future homes and adventures.

Because Jinxx had such a large first litter we have decided not to breed her again and she will be retired from our breeding program to play agility/be a much loved pet.

Agility

We entered our first agility competition at Comaidai Park on March 2nd 2024 and we came home with 5 x Qualifying runs, 5 First Places, a Second place and she was second highest in trial in points in Intro level!
